Some months ago I have participated to a contest organized by Associazione Culturale Tapirulan.
The pourpose was to create an illustration for the 2012 calendar. The theme was: “Privacy. Secret emotions and unconfessable thoughts. Private vices and public virtues. The right to the privacy collides with the irresistible curiosity…“.
I am very happy because one of the top 12 ranked illustrations, of a total of over 400 participants from all over the world, there is also mine!
So in the calendar published by Associazione Culturale Tapirulan, the month of October is associated with my work.
Saturday, December 3, there was the awarding of two winners (winner of the popular prize and the critics’ prize). Alongside there was the opening of the exibition of selected works together with the personal exibition of works by Roberto Innocenti.
Sunday, December 4, also, there was a meeting between all the illustrators and the members of the jury with the purpose to know us.
Both days were wonderful. For me it was an opportunity for comparison and knowledge of people that I admire as Roberto Innocenti and Guido Scarabottolo.
For more infos about the contest see here.
